Education Book Design

Home » Education Book Design

A recipe book designed to impart math & science skills to K-5 students. Purpose 1. To teach basic cooking and baking skills. Some people don’t like to cook, and that’s fine, but everyone should at least know how. 2. To develop the idea that cooking and baking use both math and science. 3. To practice basic math skills. How to Use This book This book should be used by a child/adult pairing. An adult is necessary for safety reasons and to help read the recipe if needed. The recipes can be completed with minimal adult help, usually handling sharp and hot objects. The lessons are usually short, meant to make the child think about the science or math behind the completed recipe.
